Matt Lackowski is a core member of the Boston Consulting Group’s Operations practice and an expert in procurement. He has deep third-party cost-reduction expertise across direct and indirect spend categories in the consumer, industrial goods, financial services and medtech industries. He advises clients on value opportunity assessment, programmatic third-party cost reduction, spend category strategy, negotiation execution, demand management, procurement operating model design / implementation, and post-merger integration. He has notable experience driving value from direct spend suppliers across the value chain, from raw materials/commodities to finished goods.

Prior to joining BCG, Matt worked as a consultant focusing on strategic sourcing and procurement transformation programs. Prior to receiving his MBA, he also worked as a structural engineer.
