Matthew Ward is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Marketing, Sales & Pricing (MSP) practice. He is a recognized expert in next generation sales (NGS) and serves as the global lead for the firm's Digital Sales Accelerator (DSA). With a broad background in scaling and optimizing sales and go-to-market teams, Matthew has extensive experience across various industries, including technology, telecommunications, industrial goods, consumer goods, energy, and health care.

Matthew's notable projects include spearheading the development of BCG's Digital Sales Accelerator for a major technology, media, and telecommunications client, which integrated a comprehensive digital marketing strategy with sales functions. This initiative achieved a significant boost in conversion rates, generating over $500 million in new revenue and enhancing sales productivity. He also played a key role in designing a global demand center model for a global networking equipment supplier, dramatically improving lead response times and customer satisfaction.

Before joining BCG, Matthew accumulated over two decades of experience in strategic sales and operational roles, including a decade at Everbridge where he contributed to its transformation from a small startup into a publicly traded SaaS company.
