Michael Jonas is a core member of the Operations and Industrial Goods practices at Boston Consulting Group. He is BCG’s lead for sustainability in procurement, and as such supports clients in managing and reducing scope 3 upstream emissions, and managing human rights risks along the Tier-N supply chain.

Besides sustainability, Michael works on topics that are at the top of today’s CPOs’ agendas. He helps clients build supply chain resilience, generates measurable EBITDA impact across categories, and runs large-scale procurement transformations with his clients to boost procurement’s mandate.

Michael is a procurement enthusiast. He joined BCG in 2015 after more than eight years at Lufthansa Group in various roles, most recently as Manager in the procurement department at Lufthansa Cargo.
