Monica Schwarm is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Health Care practice, with a focus on payer/provider and medtech work. She also leads the strategy topic within BCG for payers, providers, systems and services (PPSS). Monica focuses on transformational topics, including M&A, operating model redesign, cost optimization, growth strategy, and large-scale change. She also brings a deep geographical perspective to her knowledge base as she previously completed a year in London working with medtech, pharma, provider, and non-profit clients.

Monitoring Patient Health from Hospital to Home, which Monica co-authored, highlights the need for a new technology to bridge the gap in data collection between devices.

Prior to joining BCG, Monica worked as General Counsel for the Cook County Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management where she was responsible for undertaking multi-variable planning projects, negotiating departmental contracts, and ensuring compliance with a range of statutes and regulations, including data security.
