Myrto Lee is a core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Health Care and Global Advantage practices, with a focus on research and development. She serves as the Women@BCG mentoring lead for the firm’s London, Amsterdam, and Brussels’ (LAB) offices. Myrto has over 20 years of experience, including 12 years in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and pharmacy industries.
Myrto focuses on research and development (R&D) including regulatory, market access, and medical, across pharmaceuticals and life sciences. She is a UK-registered pharmacist and a member of TOPRA (a regulatory affairs professional body). Myrto has led several projects in R&D strategy and operating model development, R&D process improvement, divestitures across R&D, medical, safety, and regulatory market entry strategies and innovative pricing schemes.
Before joining the firm, Myrto was director of Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences at Strategy& UK. Prior to that, she worked as a senior pharmaceutical assessor with the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency in the UK, having had previous experience in the UK as an R&D manager at a biotech startup, Apthon Corporation, and in pharmaceutical development R&D at Pfizer.
