Gabrielle Novacek is a Partner and Director in BCG's Chicago office.
During her more than 15 years at Boston Consulting Group, Gabrielle Novacek has developed deep global expertise in organization and operating model design. She has worked in many industries and contexts, particularly on organizational transformation, commercial transformation and effectiveness, agile ways of working, employee value proposition (EVP) design, culture transformation, and change management. She previously served as both the global leader for people and organization topics in consumer goods, and as the North America Marketing, Sales & Pricing practice leader.
Gabrielle was the primary architect of BCG's Inclusive Advantage client offering within the Social Impact practice. She recently completed a three-year fellowship at BCG's Henderson Institute, focused on developing breakthrough inclusion methodologies. Her work has been shared on numerous important stages including the World Economic Forum, the United Nations, and a wide range of global media outlets.
Examples of Gabrielle's recent client efforts include, leading the end-to-end organization and operating model transformation for a Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods company as part of a major cost and strategic restructuring effort, building the foundational Inclusive Advantage strategy for a major North America retailer seeking to lead as a socially transformative business in its industry, redesigning and operationalizing a new EVP for a 250,000-member frontline workforce in order to address talent attraction and retention issues, designing the holistic change management program to support a Fortune 500 company's strategic transformation {including all aspects of operating model design, governance, and culture and behavior), driving a global commercial operating model transformation for the North America division of a global consumer goods company--including all aspects of organization, operating processes, and supporting tools and enablers.
Gabrielle formerly served as office leader of BCG Chicago, served on BCG's North America management and leadership teams, and was the global leader of Pride@BCG for over a decade. She is a member of the Fortune Most Powerful Women community, and has been named six times to the Out 100 Global Leaders list.
Prior to joining BCG, Gabrielle received her PhD with honors from the University of Chicago, where her academic research focused on the archaeology of the Middle East in the fourth millennium B.C. As an archaeologist, Gabrielle’s field work took her to Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Syria, and Turkey.
