Peter Clearkin joined Boston Consulting Group in September 2020. He is a member of the firm's Industrial Goods practice, and BCG's global lead for mining. He focuses on performance improvement and turnarounds for large industrial and mining clients, advising them on company strategy, organizational redesign, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and mine strategy and planning.

Peter has worked with companies in almost all commodities in South Africa and other parts of Africa, in mechanized, conventional, open-cast, and underground operations. In addition, he has worked with a number of the major mining companies around the world.

Prior to joining BCG, Peter was a partner at Bain & Company, South Africa, where he drove the mining and industrial work in Africa for over 15 years.
