Richard Lau is a core member of Boston Consulting Group's Energy practice. He focuses on energy networks and energy retail, and has worked across Australia, Europe, and the US.

Richard leads client work in networks and utilities, with a particular focus on supply chains and energy transition. He is also one of BCG’s experts in energy for mobility, encompassing integrated B2C value propositions, B2B fleets, and the future of mobility, including electrification, autonomous vehicles, and low-carbon fuels.

Before joining the firm, Richard was a physics lecturer and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Oxford.
