Ryah Whalen is the Innovations Senior Director and leads the day-to-day operations of Innovations@BCG, Boston Consulting Group's engine for business model innovation. Ryah originally joined BCG in Chicago in 2005 before transferring to Boston in 2011.

Ryah's work for the past several years has focused on sustainability. She has been working on how industry can decarbonize, including helping launch the Aviation Climate Taskforce, a coalition of leading global airlines that will accelerate breakthroughs in emerging technology to allow the aviation sector to reach net zero. In addition, Ryah has helped shape BCG's own net-zero strategy and gave a TED Talk in October of 2021 on the path to decarbonize aviation.

Ryah is passionate about strategy and innovation. She has expertise in assessing and launching disruptive businesses, and has driven multiple new ventures for BCG including Growth Tech and software.
