Saurabh Chandra is core member of Boston Consulting Group’s Financial Institutions practice. He is a core member of, and the AI and software co-lead for BCG X in India. BCG X is BCG’s tech build and design division. Saurabh works with clients on large-scale deep-tech digital transformation, business build and diversification for growth vectors, new country launches, ecosystem partnership and integration, regulatory and compliance, fundraising, and successful exits.

Saurabh has expertise in many aspects of banking, insurance, fintech, retail, and e-commerce businesses. He brings to the firm more than two decades of technology and internet industry experience. He is able is to bring a practitioner’s lens to solving business problems using deep-tech capabilities such as internet scale platform-building, GenAI, machine learning platform, large language models, data, mobile technologies, and cloud. Thanks to his industry experience and the multiple domains within which he has worked, his expertise in business transformation is not only with large organizations but also startups and the public sector.

Before joining BCG, Saurabh held senior leadership roles with multiple startups, Fortune 500, and internet and technology companies, including Oracle, Computer Associates, J.P. Morgan Chase, FlipKart, Myntra, Amazon, and Visa. He is an author of two technical books published by McGraw Hill, as well as an entrepreneur and founder of two startups in the edtech and beauty social commerce domain.

Saurabh is an MIT Bootcamp alumni, holds eight patents and trade secrets, has been technology advisor to Google incubators, and has served on the board advisory of e-commerce and internet companies across India and Southeast Asia.
