Shashanka Muppaneni leads Boston Consulting Group's work in life sciences tools and diagnostics for the West Coast and is the Corporate Finance & Strategy node for the West Coast across all industry practice areas. His work also covers strategy, corporate development/M&A, and marketing topics in health care, high tech, and industrial businesses. He is a leader in BCG's San Diego office and a core member of the global Health Care, Corporate Finance & Strategy, and Marketing, Sales & Pricing practices.

Shashanka brings an operator and strategic investor's mindset to his client engagements, having been a general manager accountable for P&Ls, and a functional leader in corporate strategy/M&A and marketing teams.

Before coming to the firm, Shashanka held positions as VP & Head of Corporate Development & Strategy at Seer, VP & Head of Corporate Strategy at Illumina, and VP & General Manager of the Vital Care business at Smiths Medical.
