Ulrike Schwarz-Runer is the firm’s general counsel and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and other global committees. Ulrike leads some of the firm's most critical business priorities, and chairs the BCG Board of Directors.
She has held non-executive director roles in financial services and higher education as well as charitable organizations in the US and Europe.
Prior to joining BCG, Ulrike was a board member of a family-owned business and a sovereign wealth fund. As executive director at Goldman Sachs, she advised family-owned businesses around the world. Earlier in her career, Ulrike was an M&A attorney at Freshfields, and Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
