Vanessa Lyon is a member of the leadership team of Boston Consulting Group’s Technology & Digital Advantage practice where she leads cybersecurity and digital risk globally.

In her 19 years at BCG, Vanessa has accumulated extensive expertise in large-scale tech transformations in all industries. She co-founded the firm's Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) offer and has held several leadership roles including global Technology & Digital Advantage people chair, head of France business development team, leader for technology topics in industrial goods, and most recently, global offer leader for IoT and Web3.

Vanessa is an expert in the IT, Internet of Things, and digital arenas and has led a number of major programs from ideation to implementation. Within the automotive, industrial and and transportation sectors, she has worked not only on IT transformation programs, but also on business models and product innovation, post-merger integration, cost performance, and large-scale digital transformations.

Vanessa has a wide-ranging technology background from mainframe to GenAI platform development, and from ERP recovery to the establishment of digital and AI factories. She is particularly passionate about connected products and enablement of tech delivery.
