Can We Rely on Engineers to Save the World?

BCG's Tim Chapman says we are at a point where, for the first time, we are really feeling the effects of climate change, but the window for doing something about it is closing. We need to address, in parallel, climate change, biodiversity, social equity, social values, resource scarcity, and just transition. Engineers can be a vital force in fighting economic disparity by bringing refrigeration, roads, mobility, and more to the huge percentage of people still living in poverty.
