Transport Stack – Powering Innovation and Impact with Digital Public Infrastructure & Goods

BCG has partnered with the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and JICA DXLab to create Transport Stack, designed to revolutionize mobility through Digital Public Infrastructures (DPIs) and Digital Public Goods (DPGs). Transport Stack establishes a multimodal ecosystem covering Metro, Bus, Rapid Rail, Micro-mobility, and ancillary services such as parking and EV charging, through the creation of secure data highways in the form of Open APIs.

This initiative leverages Standard Data Exchange Protocols and the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) framework to implement a varied set of use-cases for the benefit of Citizens, Transport Operators, Businesses, and Government Bodies. Additionally, Transport Stack produces valuable assets throughout its development lifecycle that can be easily adapted and implemented in other cities around the world, tailored to their specific challenges.
