BCG’s San Diego office has expanded rapidly since launching in 2022, with over 60 employees today. Located in the Little Italy neighborhood within the heart of "America’s Finest City" members of the BCG San Diego office have easy access to the vibrant food and cultural life of America's 8th largest city as well as the sand and surf of some of the country's most popular beaches.
San Diego’s Southern California geography drives its reputation for a uniquely enjoyable mix of culture and climate. Who We Work With
BCG’s San Diego presence has quickly established itself in the city’s robust life sciences (e.g., medtech, biotech, diagnostics), aerospace & defense, public sector, technology, and energy industries. Further, tight collaboration with Los Angeles and the broader West system provides members of BCG’s San Diego office access to a wide range of client work, from media to financial services. The office has also established an early legacy of local impact, providing pro-bono consulting services to local partners such as Athena and the San Diego Economic Development Council and coordinating office-wide volunteer beach cleanup events with San Diego Coastkeeper to positively contribute to the broader community.
Our Office Culture
As one of BCG’s newest offices, San Diego is a close knit and entrepreneurial community, actively working to build a culture that blends the best aspects of BCG’s rigorous work culture with the hallmarks of southern California’s beach vibes. Since launch, we have held monthly office-wide lunches and dinners, bayside happy hours, and various affiliation events through our BLx, Women@BCG and numerous other affinity networks. In our beautiful new office space in the heart of Little Italy, we have hosted and look forward to hosting events to bring our office, alums, and the broader San Diego business community together. Our unique and growing community looks forward to welcoming new members as we continue to bring in new faces to tackle a diverse set of challenges for our clients.
