With systemic shocks to the African food system becoming more regular, a move to agricultural practices that increase productivity for smallholder farmers while also addressing environmental sustainability are becoming ever more critical. The solution lies in high-yielding, resilient, and adaptive practices (HYRAP) that constitute an African approach to regenerative agriculture.
