What the Public Sector Workforce Wants
What 11,000 workers around the world tell us about their ideal post-pandemic workplace.
Public sector workers worldwide have proved over the past two years how capable, resilient, and flexible they are under even the most trying circumstances. Now these employees want to retain the flexibility they gained during the Covid-19 pandemic era, including in how, where, and when they work. They appreciate good workplace relationships, work-life balance, and the chance to do meaningful work, and are open to learn new skills to stay competitive.
These are among the highlights of a global survey of 11,000 public sector workers conducted by Boston Consulting Group and The Network, a part of our Decoding Global Talent series exploring the changing preferences of workers around the world.
