The (Re)discovery of Second-hand Fashion in Brazil
BCG analyzed the second-hand fashion items resale scenario in Brazil to understand the drivers of this emerging consumption, find out who drives the sector and map what the future holds for this market. In the study, almost 3000 Brazilians from all regions, age groups and socioeconomic classes were interviewed. With a combination of online quantitative research, focus groups on specific topics and monitoring of communities on the internet, the survey assesses in depth the behavior of fashion buyers and sellers in the country.
