Reframing the Narrative on Women’s Roles in African Societies

It has been found that to empower women economically, it is critical to make long-lasting change that includes adjustments to social norms and to women’s role in society. Countries across the African continent, therefore, need to ensure that legal, social, and educational measures are designed to address this underlying issue.
