GenAI: The Trust Multiplier for Government

BCG and Salesforce collaborated to understand citizens’ perceptions of digital government and artificial intelligence including GenAI, in Australia and New Zealand. We surveyed 4,800+ people and asked them about their expectations, usage and satisfaction with online government services; and attitudes towards using GenAI in government, trust in government to use AI responsibly; and the factors that might build or erode this trust.
