Energy Transition is crucial for advancing climate mitigation efforts. Asia Pacific, in particular, as a contributor to over 50% of the world's emissions, plays a pivotal role in achieving a successful global Energy Transition.

Despite growing interests and investment in Energy Transition, ‘People', especially marginalized groups, workers in sunset fossil fuel or related industries and their communities, and vulnerable consumers, are often overlooked. Current data suggests that emphasis has predominantly been on infrastructure, failing to adequately prioritize ‘People' in the transition process with only <1% of funding channeled toward People-Centric levers.
