BCG Budapest opened in 1997 and has grown significantly since then to become a regional headquarters for operations, in addition to Hungary, in Croatia, Slovenia, Serbia, Romania and partly in Slovakia.
To foster a positive and inclusive office environment, the Budapest office has numerous affiliation activities, including office get-togethers, the annual office outing, a Christmas party, and sports tournaments. We succesfully managed to keep our activities alive even during the pandemic when personal meetings were on hold or restricted. These events are not obligatory but are organized for and by those who would like to join. On a smaller scale, there are case team outings and department outings, usually organized by the participants themselves.
We are proud of our Integrom Program, a social experiment that brings together the civil and corporate sectors to build the missing bridge between Roma job seekers and the corporate labor market. The program was initiated and coordinated by BCG, in cooperation with a local foundation. We are most proud that the number of Roma job seekers placed with a corporate partner has increased 100.
