Yunus Social Business is an initiative that has its roots in Bangladesh. It emerged in 1983 when Professor Mohammed Yunus developed the concept of microcredit and with this philosophy created the Grameen bank, which followed a microfinance revolution in the world, for which he won, among others, the Prince of Asturias Award for the Concord in 1998 and the Nobel Peace Prize in 2006.
