BCG in Santiago opened in 2002 and has grown rapidly, moving from a small office into a much bigger space in just a few years. Chile's demonstrated economic and political stability and its tremendous potential for growth make it a very exciting market to which BCG can add sustaining value. The Santiago and Buenos Aires offices work together in a single system. The atmosphere in each of our offices is dynamic, challenging, and entrepreneurial. To help establish BCG's presence in this market, all the staff in Santiago and Buenos Aires—regardless of tenure and title—are called upon to assume significant responsibilities.

The office culture encourages entrepreneurship, intellectual development, professional challenges, and teamwork. The entire staff gains experience in all aspects of the consulting business, and everyone, title and tenure notwithstanding, takes on significant responsibility from the outset.
In December 2002, we started a partnership with Endeavor with the objective of providing strategic guidance to its entrepreneurs. Since then, we have structured and delivered pro bono consulting support to help more than 15 entrepreneurs confront their most serious business challenges, including organizational structure, market entry strategy, new-business development, performance measurement, and incentive compensation.

Located in the foothills of the Andes Mountains, Santiago offers many recreational opportunities to both visitors and residents. The city is just one hour away from both world-class skiing and the Pacific Ocean. BCG in Santiago is located in the modern Parque Titanium, the premier business district of the city. The office is surrounded by a park and near Costanera Center, the highest tower in South America.

Programs
BCG in Santiago-Buenos Aires is an active participant in the Ambassador and Associate Abroad programs. We have hosted ambassadors from other BCG offices, including Italy, Canada, Germany, Austria, and Switzerland—and we have sent our ambassadors to Chicago, Sydney, Perth, Paris, and more.
